Another weekend...done

Wow, another weekend of fun and delight is over. Church was good today - the first day that they were using the new projector. The preservice worship music was good, and there was only one glitch that the presentation had, near the end of the service. Work was good, but was busy, and I was happy when my day came to an end.

Rollout of ARPO is this week, and I am a little worried, which I think is natural. I have lots of faith that it will do well, and that there will be a smooth rollout company-wide later this week. But, there always is the chance that something could and would go wrong. I need to trust that God will bless the work of my hands, and the passions of my heart, and that things will go well.

I forgot a book that I need to read at school, so I need to head in early in the morning to get that. Thus, time for early bed.

Sleepy boy

No sleep makes a person work all the better, so it seems. Yesterday I did my normal routine of school from 8 am to noon, and then work from 1 pm to 10:30 pm. I got home after 11 pm, and started looking at my calc homework, because there is a quiz in class today. I did some work analyzing data in Microsoft Excel, but the large amount of data that I was trying to compare seems to of overwhelmed it to the point that it crashed. I rolled into bed at 2 am, and woke up at the crack of 6:30 to my alarm - reminding me that I need to be at class before 9 am to take that quiz. So, sleep is not really happening as it ought. I still have to write a 3 page paper for one of my CompSci classes - due Friday - and work my normal work shift. This next couple days will be ... interesting, to say the least.

Friends and Labors

I enjoyed hanging out with my friend Little Amy (rosykitty) today. She is into everything Sanrio, and was happy to show off her latest pins and other wearable stuff. I swung by True North for a short time today, and fixed their annoying Outlook Address Book issue (4 address books in the search path, only one actually existed). While there, I got to chat with Sarah, who was babysitting Pastor's kids. Then, it was time for work.

The weather was nice outside - 30s and lots of snowmelt happening. It made walking and driving fun, because it was not super-cold out. Work was busy, but good. I got 4 repairs done, two of which I did while on the phone with folks about my parts ordering system. I took apart 2 more machines to get the HDs out for data transfers. I got the paperwork done for some other repairs that were waiting for notes. I tested and resolved the printing of labels in my parts ordering system. I created an updated final installer version and sent it to the training folks, who will use my notes and documentation, and write training materials for the other employees who will use it. I even dealt with a customer service issue, and did my best to make the customer happy. He wanted something that we couldn't give him, and was rather stubborn about getting his way. It sounds like he will be taking me up on my offer though. I stayed an hour late at work, finishing things and installing the new version of ARPO on the Mall of America server. It felt so good to get home, after 14 hours of being gone. Class starts in 6.5 hours, so rest is another priority. :)
